Parts for Roboxsumo / Programmable Roboxsumo and Creek Creepers
One can readily create and assemble all of the necessary parts for these programs. Parts lists are provided in the documents tab that provide information on parts and sources. However, in the beginning, it might be easier to simply buy some of the more complicated parts. Here is a list of all components available for purchase and the associated prices. Right now, we do not have capabilities for E-Commerce, so purchase must be made by cash, check, or Paypal. A list of components and their pricing is provided below. Roboxsumo Basic kit – $40.00
This kit contains all of the construction parts needed for one team. It includes:
- Main Harness assembly with main drive motors and accessory connectors
- 1 set of wheels with tires
- 5’ of aluminum tape
- 10 – 4” zip ties
- 1 ping pong ball
- Cardboard – 1 piece – 20”x20” (was 24″ x 24″)
Main Harness Assembly – $20.00
This is the main electrical harness. It comes assembled and tested with:
- Two gear motors
- RJ45 Main connector
- Molex accessory connectors
Accessory Motor Assembly – $10.00
This is the accessory motor harness for more advanced competitions or events. Please note, this is only one motor. It comes assembled and tested with:
- One Gear motor assembly
- Molex connector that mates to main harness above
Wheels – 1 set with tires – $10.00
This is one set of the Pololu, 60 MM wheels in black. Part number 1420
Wired Controller – Four Function with 14’ Cable – $45.00
This controller will connect to the main harness and operate all four motors.
All controls are On/Off.
Uses 6 AA batteries – Included
Wireless Controller – Two Function – $180.00
This controller uses a four-channel, 2.4 GHz, digital radio controller. This controller can operate in the same room with several other units with no interference. It connects to a single, two-channel motor driver and as such can only control two motors at one time. All of the components are secured to a single card for ease of handling. Manuals for all of the components are included.
Wireless Controller – Four Function – $260.00
This controller uses the same radio controls and motor controls as the two-channel model. However, it includes a second motor driver card (Same model as the two-channel device) to allow two more motors to be operated on the accessory connectors. All of the components are secured to a single card for ease of handling. Manuals for all of the components are included.

Programmable RoboxSumo GLIDER –
This is all of the same parts as above, but without the Arduino and breadboard. If you already have those and just need the chassis. This is the option for you.
